I am a second-year PhD candidate in Biosciences at Newcastle University, where my thesis focuses on machine learning in Limbal Stem Cell Deficiency (LSCD) patients - a corneal surface disease. The clinical thread starts with my first degree: an MBBCh in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University (Sep 2009 – Feb 2016). I then completed an MSc in Data Analytics and Machine Learning (Merit) at Imperial College London and an MSc in Digital Marketing (Distinction) at Loughborough University London. My scholarships across the two MScs include Chevening (2019–2020), the Imperial-Bseisu Scholarship (2019–2020), and Loughborough’s Dean’s Award for Enterprise.

In parallel, I have spent a decade leading growth and performance marketing across MENA eCommerce. My most recent work at Nana.sa (Dec 2024 – Feb 2026) drove mobile installs from 819,000 to 2,040,879 and six-week retention from 6.5% to 11% across 2024–2025. Before Nana I led growth at Rasseed: as Growth Marketing Manager (Oct 2020 – Dec 2021) I delivered over $10M in B2C gift-card revenue and a 55% sales lift; as Senior Marketing Manager (Jan 2022 – Nov 2024) I drove a 40% lift in B2B leads and a 30% lift in user engagement on a ten-person team. Earlier operator work includes Haseelapp.com (secured a $1M+ seed in 2019), an earlier stint at Nana.sa (Dec 2016 – Nov 2017), Nejree.com ($600K in first-quarter sales), NiceOne, and a 2020 data-science internship at HealthLumen, where I built a machine-learning model that reduced chronic kidney disease simulation time from two hours to seven minutes.

My peer-reviewed paper “Mining Arabic Twitter conversations on health care: a new approach to analysing Arabic language on social media” appeared in the Journal of Islamic Marketing in 2021 (DOI 10.1108/JIMA-12-2020-0355). It is the one piece of work in my record that sits inside both tracks.
