Mining Arabic Twitter conversations on health care.
A new approach to analysing Arabic language on social media.
Abstract
Most social-media NLP research is anglophone. This paper develops methodology for analysing Arabic-language conversations - a linguistically rich, morphologically complex, underserved domain in computational text analysis - in the specific context of healthcare discourse. It combines applied marketing analysis with computational linguistic method in a way that neither pure marketing nor pure NLP research typically does.
